WAU

We started this year thinking about our local area- what buildings or places make it important to us and where we enjoy going, the weather where we live (wind and rain) and who can help us in our local area. 
We went on a walk around our local area, we build and drew the places we saw. We discussed a storm we all experienced and talked about trees falling and things blowing away like trampolines. This led us to discuss fire fighters who help us to clear the road by chopping up the fallen tree and removing it. We then had a lovely visit from two firefighters.
